Marika, who trained locally in voice and piano, has been teaching for over 15 years. She has been involved theatrically in many local productions and organisations. Noteable successes include a number of years teaching young people at the renowned Stagecoach Performing Arts School, as well as the award-winning Bikeshed Youth Theatre. During her time at Bikeshed she composed many of the music pieces for their performances. She has been Musical Director on a variety of local pantomimes including The Pied Piper, Dick Whittington, Sleeping Beauty, Rumplestiltskin and Jack and the Beanstalk.
Among other accomplishments, Marika runs performing arts workshops for teenagers with learning disabilities. She is passionate about creating a fun and vibrant setting to help people to reach their full potential with a relaxed and supportive approach.
